The tour starts with pick up from your hotel (Old City and Taksim areas provided with complimentary pick-up service) at around 08:30 and finishes at around 12:30. We will start with Roman Hippodrome (the site of ancient races, games and riots). It was also used for similar purposes during the Ottoman Era. Pick up from the hotel about 08.30 am. The tour starts with a drive along the Golden Horn to see the Old City Walls (from the tour bus) Than, you will visit the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Market) the last stop of Silk Road where today still the various types of spices, Turkish delights, Turkish coffee, herbal teas and souvenirs are offerred. The tour ends at the Spice Bazaar. Finally, you will make cruise on Bosphorus by public boat for about 1,5 hours and your guide will provide you the extensive information behind it. Then you will reach Eyup area, where you will take a short cable-car ride up to Pierre Loti Hill, where you can get one of the most magnificent views of Istanbul and Golden Horn. Pierre Loti Hill, is named after French author Pierre Loti (Louis Marie Julien Viaud) who fell in love with Istanbul at first sight, and frequented in the area a lot.
